If you’ll believe this, this outfit featured both Gerry Rafferty (of “Baker’s Street,” “Right Down the Line” and Steeler’s Wheel fame) and Billy Connelly (of 1980s stand-up and latter-day Head of the Class fame). They’re McCartney damaged and amazing. This album was made in 1969. It is one among hundreds of amazing records I’ve discovered since getting in touch with blogs the likes of Fat Pam, Time Has Told Me and A Pound for a Brown. Bear these names in mind, dorks.
