Living on $7/hour is possible but not nice at all. I remember when I thought I was making good money by getting $10/hour. Of course, I had a safety net in my family. Many people don’t. The minimum wage hasn’t risen in Georgia since ‘96.
i sent this link to Doug Henwood, since it is his birthday today according to friendster. Anyhow, he thanked me for it, and said he just figured out that the richest 30,000 Americans have incomes equal to the poorest 45 million.
